Delayed refund for over two weeks
- - MTN contact edit request met with no help from the staff.
- - Issue reported on transaction day; service is poor and unresolved after sixteen days.
I made a mistake with the MTN contact and later called to edit the number, but I got no help from Top Top Send agent. I reported the issue on the very day of the transaction, but up to now, my issue hasn't been resolved.
Bad customer service, and I am regretting doing business with Top Top Send. It's been sixteen days since I did the transaction, and the issue hasn't been resolved yet.

Dreadful service and question how they verify customers

What a complete joke of a financial system Taptap Send is, in my experience and opinion. I will explain honestly and objectively what went on.
I got involved in a scam with what was sold to me as online and legitimate employment.
Not my proudest moment I will admit (my first and last time I will fall for something like this), but looking back it was so incredibly contrived that I forgive myself somewhat.
Anyway, during the process the scammer asked me to transfer money via TapTap Send. There were various payee details from approximately six people - all from Kenya.
Once I realized it was a scam, I contacted TapTap Send straight away.
I could tell in their first response they did not want any part of dealing with this situation, but they of course said the compassionate things.
I pursued them in many emails, asking them that surely they have the details of these payees - as surely when they set up an account they require certain verification - proof of person, address, passport/ID details etc - which then they assign a unique account number to. Surely they verify the person before starting the account?
The first line of contacts at TapTap Send just kept replying with answers that did not answer the question I was asking (hence, how do they identify customers they take onto their account), and told me their customer service team would be in touch with me.
I prompted the customer service team over and over again, but guess what...no reply from them.
Surely if they had nothing to hide, they would have contacted me.
